Welsh Reunion Dinner
Twenty-four people met on the evening of 3 October for a memorabledinner at Llandaff Memorial Hall, the first OH Reunion in Wales sincethe 1950s. The company included a former governor, two of thePresident's Heads of School and three couples who were married inHereford Cathedral. They were well entertained by Paul Thorburn OH, the100th captain of the Welsh rugby side, who gave an amusing account ofhis illustrious rugby career. Thanks go to Llandaff Cathedral Schooland our hard-working Alumni Officer, Helen Pearson. Given the hugecontributions that the Welsh have made to HCS over the centuries, it ishoped that it will not be another sixty years before our next Reunion inthe Principality.Howard Tomlinson
